Some encouraging signs for the local economy.
Figures released by the London St Thomas Association of Realtors show, there was a 4.5 percent increase in home sales last month, when compared to June of last year.
767 detached homes and 179 condos changes hands in June, with the average home price of 211 thousand dollar.
And while yearly sales are down 11 percent from 2008, L-S-T-A-R president Joe Hough says he's very pleased to see June's increase.
