Oil Springs Man Faces Weapons Charges

OPP in Lambton County have charged a 49 year old man after shots were fired yesterday.
Police say some oil workers were tending to wells on Gum Bed Line, when a man came out onto the porch of a nearby home and fired some shots from a long gun.
Police set up a perimeter and the man walked away from his home before being arrested.
The unidentified Oil Springs man is charged with Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The man is said to be known to police.
