Reward to Stop Fire Bug

A London councilor is asking the city to put up a 25 thousand dollar reward to help catch the firebug that has been terrorizing the downtown core.

Stephen Orser says it's a reasonable investment for the peace and security of this city.

He adds he's afraid someone will die if the fires aren't stopped.

Since the end of March the city has seen nearly 2 dozen suspicious fires, mostly in vacant buildings.

The request goes to Board of Control on July 22nd.
