My Fitness Friend update - the final stage

Below is an email from Irene Templeman... She was one of my fitness friends..

HI my fellow sufferers......

Can you believe we only have a few more sessions left - I have 4, 2 this week and 2 next including the final weigh-in next Thursday.  Oh, how I am dreading that.  I know I have worked hard and more importantly greatly improved my eating habits but it never seems to come off as fast as you want.  To say my colleagues and family are shocked at my will power this time around is an understatement.  The big difference this time around is Lena, without her pushing, shoving and in some cases dragging me I'd never have made it.  This will be the bit I miss the most once we complete our 12 weeks.  Having that support is essential for achieving your target and I still have a long way to go, although am slowly heading in the right direction.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and have greatly appreciated the chance to start on the road to recovery.  I hope we get a chance to meet up for coffee before we finish so we can compare notes and acknowledge the hard work we have done.

Take care and let me know how your progress is going.

Irene

A mouse and me !!!

I survived the cold and flu thing and my trainer Brent McKenzie was not the least bit sympathetic. Actually he was ... a little. I started this little adventure not to lose weight but to get better cardio and to get better upper body strength.

The attention I am getting from Brent and the entire staff at The Athletic Club is fabulous and to quote a Chicago song ... "getting stronger every day".

Check out this video from You Tube - Mouse Fitness... if this mouse can do it so can I!

My fitness update....

It's been nine weeks! Nine weeks of sweat, aches and pains working out at the Athletic Club in south London. My trainer Brent McKenzie is showing no signs of mercy! Even though I throw every excuse in the book at him!

When I started this adventure I thought no sweat, I can do this! I'm in shape! WRONG! What I found out is I'm eating wrong, not walking my dogs enough to actually keep in shape and I need to work on my cardio. February is Heart and Stroke month in Canada. This is the number one killer of women in North America. If for nothing else I now have a fitness program that  includes cardio and that reason alone is enough to make me carry on.

Check out the Athletic Club at  www.theathleticclubs.ca/

For the love of your health...

Many readers of my blog know by now that for the past 6 weeks I have been training with The Athletic Club. I realize now how important it is to keep in shape and by in shape, my definition is not wheezing climbing a set of stairs, or getting winded walking quickly. I honestly thought until I participated in this little experiment I WAS in shape. I will say the sessions are getting better though not any easier!

I would recommend the great staff at Athletic Club to anyone... give them a try !

Like mother, like daughter...

My daughter Cate McLean has been suffering with at the Athletic Club below is her take...

check back often and we'll keep you updated!

One month down, and I am certainly no worse for wear, though the first few days were shaky-eek, my poor muscles.   I was terrified at the onset of this opportunity (yes, I did say opportunity).   I have learned so much about myself in this short one month.   I have accomplished things that I never (in a billion years!) thought that I could physically accomplish, and for the first time in well over a decade, I can actually say that I am proud of my physical abilities.   I started this process to lose weight, but have found that improving my overall well being has been an awesome side effect.   I have more energy, and I can FINALLY keep up with my two-year-old son!  My trainer Chrystal, (whom I was very afraid afraid of- before meeting), has been the greatest support person, and teacher that I could ever ask for, and NOTHING like the drill sargent that I had expected.  She has helped me learn not only how to exercise properly, but how to take better care of myself.   I was really intimidated by the whole "gym" thing, before I started going.   I felt insecure, and as though I just shouldn't be there.   The machines were scary, and I thought that I would be completely lost-and look ridiculous!   I have found (with Chrystal's help) that it is a great place to escape, and not at all scary.   The Athletic Club is really modern and well equipped, and (get this) I CAN watch t.v. AND get exercise, yay!!!!   Whether I lose a lot of weight or not, this experience has already given me something that I had LONG forgotten, my self.  I am stronger, healthier, thinner,  and, most of all,  I am proud of myself.  Can't wait to see what the next two months has in store!

My Fitness Friends update..

We're halfway through our program with the Athletic Club. Below is an update from my fitness friends, Ann and Irene...

Elaine, I heard you and your daughter during your show the other day - it made me smile - I think you are more outspoken then me and probably said things to your trainer that I was "thinking" when with my trainer :)   Just kidding, I think my trainer Brad is so incredible - everyone I have met at the club (when ordering my protein shakes or checking in) have been so very friendly.  What a great club!  What a great trainer I have!!!! You should have him (or one of the trainers) talk on your show - to encourage others who have "thought" about getting healthier take that so important first step.  Adults (moms and dads) so often put their own needs behind those of everyone else in the family - Brad is reprogramming me to focus on the fact that it is okay for me to take some time out for "me" each day - to focus on my health and that in doing so will  also benefit the rest of the family (not as cranky a mom).

I so appreciate this opportunity!!!!

I hope you are both suffering as much as I am.  Lena my trainer is fab and is making me go beyond my expectations but still way below what I should be doing.  I do though feel she is being 'hard' denying me at least one bit of chocolate cake a month - even a teeny wee bit - lol!

I know it will all be worth it - every ache and pain!!!  I did though feel better after the 4 week weigh in and see that it has made a difference.

My daughter Cate is working very hard at achieving her goal. She will be posting a blog within the next copule of days,

we'll speak soon....

Looking for a Fitness Club

Looking to sign up at a gym? Experts offer these tips on how to find the right facility to add inspiration to your perspiration ...
  • Location: Is it convenient to home or work? It's the #1 reason people use or don't use a gym.
  • Timing: Visit a prospective club during the same time you expect to be using it.

Schedule: Are the classes you want offered at hours convenient for you?

  • Ambiance: How clean is it? Is the music too loud? Is most of the equipment in working order?
  • Profile: A meat market gym filled with gorgeous 20-year-olds might not be the most comfortable place for an overweight or mature woman. Pick a place that suits your style.
      • Services: Do you need a personal trainer to keep you in line? Do you like group classes?

New Year, new me !!!

You may remember in December, I began a fitness program with The Athletic Club, Wonderland and Southdale. It's now been a month of training, sweating and swearing at my personal trainer Brent McKenzie.  The first few sessions I could not walk, much less run. Every part of me ached, but I suffered through. It is getting a little easier, and I feel better for it, but i have a feeling the worst is yet to come...

I'll keep you posted !

I've found my Fitness Friends

Thank you to all for entering our contest... The winners are Irene Templeman and Ann Freeman.
We awarded two prizes. Thanks to the Athletic Club for supplying the complimentary memberships and trainers. We begin next week for three months. I have mixed feelings, looking forward to it and at the same time not looking forward to it! I'll post progress reports on a regualr basis.

Flu-Fighting Food

I saw this article in Best Health magazine and thought I'd share it with you!

Don't underestimate the power of food to help keep you healthy. Researchers are finding more and more edible solutions to everyday ailments. A few common foods that will help you fend off the flu this season.
  • Raw Garlic - It contains compounds called allion and allicin, which have direct antiviral effects.
  • Onions - Also contain the same flu-fighting compounds.
  • Spices - Turmeric, cloves, and cinnamon are packed with antioxidants, which help improve the function of the immune system.
  • Berries - All berries have high concentrations of antioxidants to help fight off flu viruses, but blueberries pack the most punch.
  • Chicken Soup - Homemade chicken soup has protein groups that have been shown to have anti-viral activity. Seems grandma was right!
The really good news: Sales of these superfoods are not restricted to people with chronic medical conditions, pregnant women, and children under 5.

Stay Healthy!

How To Clear Your Mind

I haven't blogged in awhile, but I saw this article on BestHealthMag.ca and wanted to share it with you.

Paul McKenna, author of "I Can Make You Sleep: Overcome Insomnia Forever & Get the Best Rest of Your Life", suggests  this exercise to get better sleep.  Step 1: Ask yourself, "What do I want to do that is really important to me?" Make note of everything that comes to mind.  Divide the items into 2 groups - "important to have' and just 'nice to have'.  Now choose one of the 'important to have' items and think of a small, practical, achievable step you can take tomorrow that will move you toward reaching that goal.  Make a solemn promise to do that step.  McKenna claims performing this exercise regularly will help you both sleep better and move you, step by step, toward getting what really matters to you. (What if it's 'importnat' to be taller?)

Sleep Tight!

Let's hear it for the boys !!

Men's Health) Sure, we women can claim gender advances in so many areas that it may indeed seem like men are obsolete on paper, that is. In the real world, their bugs need killing and fence lines need fixing, it's a different story and one worth sharing with other women:
  • A man shuts up when nothing more needs to be said.
  • He hears that knock in the engine as if it were a voice speaking only to him.
  • He provides shoulders broad enough to carry a child at a fair, a woman at a concert, and the whole world the rest of the time.
  • He shows a son what it takes to be a good man.
  • He lets the women and children go first.
  • He digs the Panama Canal and, later the same day, assembles a swing set.
  • A woman can defend herself from an attacker, but a man walking next to her keeps her from feeling afraid in the first place.
  • He keeps score at a ballgame and remembers what Grudzielanek did in the second inning. In 1998.
  • He makes the world safe from Oprahfication.
  • He receives and truly enjoys a $6 haircut.
  • He eats cold pizza any day, anytime.
  • He finds a way to fit her 17 bags in the car for a trip to the pool.
  • He forgives and forgets.
  • He works the remote without looking at it while toggling back and forth between two football games, a Bond film, and a CSI rerun, without missing a key moment in any of them.

Secrets to Marriage

Scott Haltzman, author of "The Secrets of Happily Married Men," says that men can succeed in marriage by treating it like a job. Halzman, a psychiatrist and professor at Brown University, believes that men need a different approach than conventional therapy, because... men and women are different. Here are his eight "Secrets" of Happily Married Men:

  1. Make Marriage Your Job -- Men do have tools: their work skills and habits. These can be applied to marriage with the right "job description."
  2. Know Your Wife -- Do your research. Observe how she behaves and interacts in various situations, and keep a record. You may just discover the person you married.
  3. Be Home Now -- "To build a lasting marriage, you have to be there, in person, day by day, Mr. Regular, at home, in the building -- and that's that." The payoff includes everything from love, support and peace of mind to sexual satisfaction and intimacy.
  4. Expect Conflict & Deal With It -- Guys are inclined to dig in and fight to the death, but with a few tips like "softening your tone," Haltzman suggests you can stop this instinct in its tracks.
  5. Learn to Listen -- Listening may not be instinctual, can be learned, to great benefit.
  6. Aim to Please -- "In the workplace men are masters of relationship-building. So... bring that skill home! The most important people in your life are not at the office.
  7. Understand the Truth About Sex -- This may come as a surprise, but men and women are different! Halzman uses a car transmission metaphor -- basically, learn to operate the gears.
  8. Introduce yourself -- Time to let her know "this is who I am; this is what I need.

Let me add one more.....A Happy Wife, is a happy life!  Stay well my friends.

A cold, the flu, allergies or H1N1?

It's important to know what ails you -- so you can stop the spread of something serious by staying HOME. So here's what your symptoms point to, and what you can do about it. I got this from Health magazine.

  • You have seasonal flu if your fever hits 101 or 102 degrees, and comes with chest discomfort plus major aches and exhaustion. That's the word from Dr. Niel Schracter, author of The Good Doctor's Guide to Colds and Flu. He says take pain pills for fever and aches, get some rest, and drink lots of liquids. Those who are at a higher risk for flu complications -- such as pregnant women, elderly adults and people with chronic illnesses -- may need antiviral medications, such as Relenza and Tamiflu.
  • You have a common cold if you have a runny nose, a little cough, and a low-grade fever -- a little high, but under 100 degrees. Your body won't feel achy, like the flu. You need to stay hydrated, which will boost your immune system and help relieve congestion.
  • Then there are allergies. If you're sneezy, itchy, and have a runny nose you may be having an attack. It's a good idea to keep allergy medicine on hand. Using a saline nasal spray, and breathing steam to keep your sinus passages irrigated, will also help.
  • How can you tell if you have H1N1? Dr. Schracter says that the H1N1 virus feels a lot like seasonal flu -- it may even feel milder -- but it often comes with gastro issues, such as vomiting and diarrhea. This makes it even easier to become dehydrated. So again, drink plenty of liquids and follow the standard flu treatment. Also, a characteristic of swine flu is coughing -- because it can get in your lungs. So stay home -- since swine flu is highly contagious -- and call your doctor if you're in the high-risk category, or you aren't better after a week. ANY flu can develop into pneumonia, and you want to avoid that.

Stay healthy!  Remember to wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer!!

Women Vs Men

According to a recent survey of 400 psychiatrists, women generally find a man's personality to be his most sexually appealing trait, followed by his interest in her, his facial appearance, body proportions, and signs of success.

Men, on the otehr hand, think a woman's body proportions are her most attractive feature, followed by her facial appearance, personality, and her interest in him.

Seems Elaine was right.......men ARE shallow!

Rich

Your choice of Eggs reveal your personality...really!!!

Rich hates this stuff!

According to psychologist Dr Beryl West, how you like your eggs reveals a lot about your personality. For instance ...

Sunny Side Up - You are optimistic and easygoing.
Over Easy - You are very precise and know exactly what you want out of life.

Soft Boiled - You're gentle, sensitive and neat, but not always easy to please.

Hard Boiled - You're a no-nonsense type, quick to form opinions.

Scrambled - You're agreeable and steady, you go with the flow.

Poached - You are very orderly and don't like to see anything out of its place.
Omelette - You enjoy taking risks.

Bon appetite!

3 Reasons to be polite when you travel

Who says nice guys finish last? Here's how simply being more polite could help you save money, or get you preferential treatment on your next vacation:

  • Nice people stand out. These days, travel workers are so used to dealing with customers who are angry and demanding that it catches them off guard when someone actually says "please" or "thank you." So make sure they notice you're not like everyone else. Most hotels will work harder to accommodate guests who aren't difficult.

  • Another way to be more polite when you travel: When someone helps you, let them know you appreciate it! Praise is hard to come by in the travel industry these days, so ticket agents and hotel workers respond well to flattery. If the agent feels good about you, they'll be more likely to give you an upgraded airplane seat, or an extra night's stay at no charge.

  • One more way to get what you want by being more polite: Volunteer. Many travelers give up a seat in order to help someone who urgently needed to be on a flight, or to accommodate couples who wanted to sit together. In almost every case, those simple acts of kindness led to preferential treatment by the flight crew! That could mean anything from getting free beverage and meal service for the rest of the flight, to getting a free upgrade on your next flight.

Hopefully you'll be travelling on the EZ Rock Jet to St Lucia.....we draw Monday Morning.
Good Luck!!!

Rich

Wow!! What a day!

Yesterday (Wed Oct 14th) our Astral Media Foursome played in the 9th Annual AON Polar Bear Classic at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club.   It was very polar like......just 4 degrees!  After years of coming in second and third in the tourny, our team FINALLY won top honors and were awarded the champions trophy!  Many thanks to  my teammates - Dave Collins from BX93, Ed Tomkowiak, and Alex Paterson (Elaine's Dad)!

The best part of the celebration was raising over $23, 000 for the Thames Valley Children's Centre.  My thanks to all involved. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present.

What your vehicles says about you

According to the new vehicle experience study by San Diego California based market research firm strategic vision, what you drive reveals a lot about your personality and background.

For example 13% of Chevy owners don't use the internet, compared to less than 3% of Honda owners.

The antithesis of flashy, Honda owners are usually pragmatic and well-educated. 70% of them boast a college degree or higher, compared with 35% of Chevy owners and 45% of Ford owners.

When your stopped at a light today, look around at the cars next to you, remember this study! Happy driving!

How to lift the stress out of your morning

Another morning. Another day begins. You get up too early, stumble into the shower and in somewhat of a haze try to get things together and get work or school on time. But by applying a few simple tips you can make not only the morning but the whole day more relaxed and smooth.

Plan the night before
Choose the 2-3 most important tasks and put them on a to-do list. By choosing just the most important stuff instead of a dozen things you are less likely to start procrastinating or realize at the end of the day that you filled it with less important tasks.

Pack your bag the night before
This very simple habit can alleviate quite a bit of stress in the morning. If you pack your bag before you go to bed then you don't have to run around in your house half panicked tomorrow while looking for your books or some important papers.

Make your lunch the night before
Pack the leftovers of your dinner in a container and put it in the fridge. Just don't forget to put it in your bag in the morning. You may even want make an extra serving so you can quickly heat up dinner when you get home from work/school. Doing this the night before will save you a bit of time and possibly a bit of money.

Don't forget to just relax
You can't get much done if you never get any rest and revitalization. Well, you can for a while but soon you'll start to feel run down, stressed out and fill up with all kinds of negative emotions pretty much all the time. So take some time to just relax. Meditate in one way or another. Take a warm bath. Take a walk in the woods. Listen to relaxing music. Have some fun with friends and/or family. Release pressure, stress and tension that can come from a hard day's work so you don't carry all of that into the following morning.

Get enough sleep
It's tempting to stay up a bit longer and let the "morning-you" take care of the problems - I do for example become more likely to revert to old behavior patterns such as negativity and being easily stressed - that come from lack of sleep. But be good to yourself at least some days during the week. Go to bed a bit earlier and catch up on your sleep.

Use a morning routine
What you do early in the day often sets the context for your day. We have a tendency to want to be consistent with what we have done before. So if you have the time - or are willing to get up a few minutes earlier - then a nice morning routine can be a great way to start a day. I do for example get up and drink a glass of water, pull the blinds from my windows to let in the sun, eat breakfast and drink a cup of green tea, brush my teeth, make my bed and declutter for a few minutes. Read more about my morning routine and the routines of many of the readers right here.

Keep everything in its place
If everything has its own place then it is whole lot easier to keep your home reasonably ordered and decluttered from day to day. And to find the keys as you are heading out the door.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY....Listen to Rich and Elaine in the morning on 97.5 London's EZ Rock.

Different Drug Problem

The following letter has appeared on the internet and was viewed by many people.  I thought I'd share it with you.

The other day, someone at a store in town read that a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical questions, "Why didn't we have a  drug problem whn you and I were growing up?"

I replied, I had a drug problem when I was young: I was drug to church on Sunday morning. I was drug to  church for weddings and funerals. I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather.

I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults. I was also drug to the woodshed when  I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the preacher, or if I didn't put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me.

I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profanity. I was drug out to pull weeds in my mom's garden and flower beds and cockleburs out of dad's fields. I was drug to the homes of family, friends and neighbors to help out some poor sould who had no one to mow the yard, repair the clothesline, or chop some firewood, and if my mother had ever known that I took a single dime as a tip for this kindness, she would have drug me back to the woodshed.

Those drugs are still in my viens and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say, or think.  They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin; and, if today's children had this kind of drug  problem, our country would be a better place.

God bless the parents who drugged us.

Calculator Fun

Here's some magic fun using a calculator.....

  • Punch in the number of days a week that you'd like to have sex.
  • Multiply this number by 2, then add 5
  • Multiply the answer by 50
  • If you've already had your birthday this year add 1759, if not add 1758.
  • Now subtract the 4 digit year that you were born.

The result is a 3 digit number.

The first digit tells how many days a week you'd like to have sex.  The last 2 digits  tells your age.

Go ahead! Give it a try!
Rich

For all the lefties in our audience....

I admit it I'm a lefty. Finally proof that lefties have certain advantages . According to a new British study, left-handed children are more likely to enjoy school and get along with their teachers than those who are right-handed. The study of 2,000 kids aged 7-to-11 found a larger percentage of lefties look forward to heading off to school each day and are also more likely to describe their relationship with their teachers as ‘very good'. However, researchers found that right-handed kids are better at getting their homework done and also tend to have neater handwriting. (That's cuz they're not dragging their hand behind the pen.)

Reusable Grocery Bags

I do the grocery shopping in our house.  I'm slowly  learning to bring my reusable grocery bags. Even the clerk commends me for remembering to "Think Green"!

I came across this article in the October issue of Canadian Living and wanted to share it with you.

Reusable grocery bags and bins are great for the enviroment, but may not be great for your health.  A recent study found high levels of bacteria, yeast and mould in reusable bags, which could lead to food poisoning.

The good news is that by following these tips from Health Canada, you can continue to use reuseable bags and plastic bins.

  • Hand wash cloth bags  frequently with hot soapy water, especially after using them to bring home fresh produce, meat, poultry and fish.
  • Wipe out plastic bins with hot water and a natural cleaner or biodegradable soap.
  • Think of your reusable bags and bins as food preperation surfaces. Keep raw or frozen meat and fish in separate bags from produce.
  • If You've used your bags or bins to store nonfood items, wash thoroughly before using for groceries.

Food vs cholesterol

I came across this article online about fighting high cholesterol.

Foods that fight bad cholesterol

  1. Almonds
  2. Oatmeal (high levels of soluable fibre)
  3. Fish with Omega 3 fatty acids
  4. Red Wine
  5. Soy (Soy products, soy beans, tofu, soymilk)

Foods that feed bad cholesterol

  1. Whole milk dairy products
  2. Processed meats
  3. Fast Food Fries
  4. Tropical Oils (Palm Kernel oil, coconut oil)
  5. Baked Goods

I like red wine (good) and baked goods (bad). If I eat and drink them together maybe they will cancel each other out!

We talked with Sherri Friesman - the lady who spotted the alligator in the pond behind her home here in London.  Wow!! A 4 foot gator making his home here in the forest city.  If you missed the intereview you can hear it here.

We also called Chris Blackmore and awarded him the EZ Rock jet trip to St Lucia with Elaine and I this November. Woo Hoo!!!!

After the show I was off to film the TV commercials for the glitzy Millionare Lottery! You have to check it out!! What a house!!!  Somebody will win a fabulous design home, a new lincoln and $200, 000 cash  or The Grand Bend Hottage, a new camero and $375, 000 cash OR  $1, 000, 000 tax free!

Many thanks to the great folks at Collins Formal Wear for the spiffy tuxedo I wore for the shoot!

I'll be back on the morning show with Elaline tomorrow morning to wake London up on 97.5 EZ Rock!

Rich's First Blog

I went out to Sunningdale Golf Course yesterday  to check on John Adams' ankles. He blew a heel on his red pumps Sunday in the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event for Women's Community House.  Next year John says he's wearing Red Pumps with Spikes!!!

I'd also like to give a shout out to Maria and Trudy at Dell Tech! Elaine and I met them while out delivering Office Of The Day this week!

We have two winners already for our Summer in St Lucia Trip!  We can't wait to hit the beaches with Michelle Cummings of St Thomas and Valon Andress of London!

Keep listening for the EZ Rock Jet for your chance to win! Elaine and I would love to take you with us!

Hooray for the 40 year old lady!!

This is going around the internet and if your celebrating a big birthday, check out Andy Rooney's take on getting older!

I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?'  She doesn't care what you think.  If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it.  She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting.  Women over 40 are dignified.  They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant.  Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it.  Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved.  They know what it's like to be unappreciated.  Women get psychic as they age.  You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40.  Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest.  They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one.  You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.  Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons.  Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal.  For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress.  Ladies, I apologize.

For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?', here's an update for you.  Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage.  Why?  Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire hog just to get a little sausage!

CARPE DIEM!

A Cornell University study finds that we tend to regret risks not taken far more than mistakes made ... even big ones. A survey conducted for the study finds that the #1 regret is not getting a good education, followed closely by not ‘seizing the moment' in romance or career. (So what did you not do that you wish you had?)

I found this article really interesting because I started thinking at what point in life does seizing the moment turn into a bucket list!

My attitude never! Seizing the moment is what life is all about, regardless of your age. By seizing the moment each day there will never be a reason to make a bucket list!

Hats off to the Cinderella Project!

I wanted to thank the organizers of the Cinderella project!

What a great event for the young women of our community. Not only will they look great but they will feel great ... for teenage girls that's the most important issue.

To the volunteers, organizers and sponsors well done!!!

Many young ladies will be attending grads and proms looking like a million dollars and feeling like a billion dollars.

We'll talk tomorrow.
